Dear all,
By now you may have already watched my video that celebrates the Fediverse and introduces it to people not familiar with it.
I published the English-language version to my self-hosted PeerTube instance on June 10th:

Then, encouraged by my wonderful interns Sam Aaberg and Riyen Patel, I also published it on YouTube, so that it could reach a wider audience – and, this is key: people not familiar with the Fediverse.
The original version of the video features an English-language narration - by yours truly - along with subtitles in English, Catalan, traditional Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazilian), Spanish and Swedish - done by wonderful Fediverse volunteers (full credits here).
One of the perks of speaking multiple languages is that I was able to do the voice-over narration for the video in French:

And Italian:

There are additional foreign-language versions in the works, by Czech- and German-speaking volunteers. Coming in July! I will update this page as soon as they are ready.
The video has received overwhelmingly positive feedback - thank you! - and earlier this week it was mentioned and embedded in an article by Thiago Ferrer Morini in the Spanish newspaper El País:

What is next? Aside from versions in more foreign languages, I would very much like to adapt the video into a zine... to spread its message even further.
As always, thank you for the incredible support!
Elena
